The world premiere of a new play - The Confession of Lee Harvey Oswald - will be the next production of Partizan TheaterThe Confession of Lee Harvey Oswald is a two act, two man work of speculative history.  We're not sure yet where or when the production will occur, possibly this winter, or possibly at the 2009 Minnesota Fringe Festival.  Check back for updates.

But that's not all!  We also have the following gifts for our generous supporters:

$50 donation: your name listed in future Partizan Theater programs.

$100 donation:  the $50 donation gift, plus free autographed DVDs of Partizan Pictures' first two award-winning feature films, Two Harbors and The Quietest Sound.  These are sure to become coveted collector items.

$500 donation: all of the $100 donation gifts, plus 4 free tickets to any Partizan Theater production, including a post-show backstage tour to meet the cast and crew.

$1000 donation:  all of the $500 donation gifts, plus a cameo appearance in a future Partizan Pictures feature film.  Really!  And believe me, people kill to be in our films.

But more important than any gift, your support will help fund plays like these past Partizan Theater productions:

Shtick, and Its Relation to the Unconscious (2003) was the number five box-office winner at the 2003 Minnesota Fringe Festival.  A 'Yiddish' musical with words, music and book by James Vculek, it starred Ari Hoptman, Richard Ooms, Marshall Hambro, Kara Greshwalk and Charles Brin.  It had five nearly sold-out shows at In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater in Minneapolis.  The producer was Philip Geller, the stage manager was Jana Kramer, the choreographer was Megan Gerlach, and the arranger and conductor of the 10 piece pit orchestra was Paul Samuel Johnson.

The Princeton Seventh (2005) was also the number five show at the 2005 Minnesota Fringe Festival.  It starred Ari Hoptman, Alex Cole, Catherine Johnson Justice and James Cada.  It was written and directed by James Vculek, stage managed by Jana Kramer, and produced by Philip Geller.

"Whatever Else You See, See This!" by Tim Voss: This is a story that begins and ends with shoes…and a surprise. And that’s all I’m going to say about the plot. The fine script is played by four highly skilled actors at the top of their craft. Catherine, Ari, Alex, and James make wonderful theatre together. I want more. This is another show that deserves six stars. It’s the best I’ve seen so far.

Angelina Jolie is a Zionist Whore! or, Plan 9 from Baghdad (2006), Partizan Theater's third theatrical venture,  had a month-long run at the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater in Minneapolis in November, 2006.  It starred Alex Cole, Alayne Hopkins, Sam Landman and Steve Lattery.  Written and directed by James Vculek, it was stage managed by Jana Kramer and Lisa Dittmann, and featured a video by Vculek and Aaron Gelperin.  You can watch the video, which may not make much sense if you haven't seen play, but it's still sort of funny.  We think.
